Splintering Strike

A powerful crushing blow that does significant damage. Upon each successful hit, the target's damage resistance is lowered and the caster receives an Earth Attunement bonus. Earth specialization and Bludgeon specialization increase the damage resistance debuff and number of possible stacks. Earth specialization increases the Earth Attunement bonus.
Stacking this skill will increase the damage inflicted and the amount of the Damage Resistance debuff, but it does not increase the Earth Attunement buff amount, the Earth Attunement buff duration, nor the Damage Resistance debuff duration.
Note: the Pugilism skill in the Tactics Skills tree does not influence the effects of Splintering Strike.

- -80% Fizzle Chance From Equipment
- 17 - 29 Physical Damage
- - Damage Resistance for 30 Seconds (debuff placed on opponent)
- + Earth Attunement for 30 Seconds (buff placed on caster)
