Ring of the Lich Kind is an artifact ring equipment item. This item has five different tier types:

This ring will turn the Avatar's skin a greyish color and it makes the Avatar "Undead". This undead effect makes the Avatar vulnerable to Banish Undead and other skills/weapons that specifically do damage to Undead, but it does not give you any of the resistances of the undead, such as immunity to Bleed Effects or Poisons.

Ring of the Lich Kind has a chance to be found as loot drops from defeating Lich Casters, including the one listed above.[1]

Salvage

By destroying this item using a Blacksmithing Station and the Salvage Item recipe, you have a chance to obtain the following. If an item states specifically it has a pattern in the item description, the stated pattern will always be obtained:

The Imbued Jewel can be socketed into a non-artifact crafted Ring and Necklace items, with the recipe Recipe: Imbued Jewel Socketed Ring or Amulet.

The chance for this item to be yielded from salvaging, depends on the tier type of the item salvaged. Artifact Salvaging Chance to yield an Imbued Gem or Jewel:
