Saltwater Fishing Level

Saltwater Fishing Level is determined by your base level (see Saltwater Fishing skill) and by using any items that have the Saltwater Fishing Level effect bonus.

In other words, the Saltwater Fishing Level effect from an item temporarily adds additional levels to those already achieved by your Saltwater Fishing skill.

The higher your Saltwater Fishing Level, the greater your chance of catching fish in Saltwater (especially rare fish).
